There are trail selections in reaching Mt. Apo’s summit, one of the most popular is the Sibulan - Mt. Apo Trail. Despite its narrow path, a rich ecosystem will surely make the trail of 3 days and 2 nights worth exploring. By the way, the best time to trek is between November to May and/or during the dry season. Beginner or pro, better to take the journey with a guide – from legalities up to the trek.

Climbing is fun but must not be taken lightly, be sure to be physically and mentally prepared all throughout the journey. What are you waiting for? Get those trekking shoes and climbing gears, pack your bags, and ready your tents, it’s time to take the climb and explore its grandeurs.

Day 01

Start the adventure right! Wake up early and fill your stomach with a healthy breakfast. Be sure to be at the jump-off point – the earlier the better – for registration and briefing for safety precautions and policies. Now, the hike begins – crossing forest and rivers. By mid-afternoon, you’ll be at Camp1 / Camp2 – depending on the progress. After a long hike with lunch on trail, this will be the base to pitch your tent. It's time to rest and relax with nature welcoming you with the sounds of bird chirping and trees swaying. If lucky enough, a majestic sight of the Philippine Eagle. Chit Chat with other trekkers before lights off.

Day 02

Early wake-up call as you conquer the boulders of Mt. Apo, Mini Rock Tower, and so much more of nature. Don’t be overwhelmed by its grandeurs, take extra care during the trek. Again, lunch on the trail as you continue to ascend to the summit and reach it by mid-afternoon. Inhale the fresh wind breeze and experience the hug of nature. Prepare to pitch the tent while waiting for an Instagram worthy sunset experience. Have dinner and socialize with other trekkers.

Imagine a sunrise breakfast experience at the highest peak in the Philippines! Having an almost 360 degrees view at the top. There are more to explore, more peaks to hop on to. Seize the moment after taking a long and vigorous hike to the top! Gain your might, it’s time to pack your bags and start to descend via the campsites you visited the previous days. As usual, lunch on trail until you’re back at your jump-off point from Day 1.

On your way back, be sure not to leave anything behind – bring everything you brought. Bring memories with you and share the worthwhile adventure you had at Mount Apo.
