Known as the Sugar Capital of the Philippines, Bacolod City has been privileged enough to have both the sweetest smiles and delicacies. Popularly known for its Pasalubong goodies, Merzci produces some of Bacolod’s fave - Piaya, flat bread stuffed with muscovado-based filling; Napoleones, sweet pastry with custard filling topped with sugar glaze and; Biscocho, baked bread topped with condensed milk or butter. Bring home the smile through their sweet delicacies!

Going down south, Davao City offers both exotic smell and taste – King of Fruits, Durian. At present, you can enjoy Durian in a variety of ways such as candies, ice cream, cookies, and even coffee. Two of the best stores to visit are Lola Abon and Apo Ni Lola, both are in the same street at Matina, Davao City. Less of a classy Durian lover? Then these sweet delicacies are for you.
