Known as the Sugar Capital of the Philippines, Bacolod City has been privileged enough to have both the sweetest smiles and delicacies. Popularly known for its Pasalubong goodies, Merzci produces some of Bacolod’s fave - Piaya, flat bread stuffed with muscovado-based filling; Napoleones, sweet pastry with custard filling topped with sugar glaze and; Biscocho, baked bread topped with condensed milk or butter.
