We all know that most of the country’s provinces rely heavily on tourism for their economy. With Covid-19 happening, it certainly brought a predicament to our fellow Filipinos’ livelihoods. However, as the vaccines slowly starting to be rolled out, more provinces are now slowly and safely reopening their borders for leisure travelers.

This is indeed such great news. For one, it shows that we can restart the economy slowly and - of course, safely given that the pandemic is still here. This also gives a chance for communities that heavily depend on tourists to regain their livelihoods. Furthermore, it gives us a chance to finally travel again after being cooped up in our homes for more than a year.

If you’re among the many who are itching to finally travel, you can visit these tourist spots that have opened up for leisure. But be reminded to still follow all travel safety guidelines to make your trip safe.
