After more than a year of not being able to travel, we can now safely travel once again. What better way to do this than visiting some of the domestic places we’ve all missed and longed for such as Bohol.
With sprawling natural attractions and equally stunning beach destinations, Bohol is one of the most ideal places you can go to for your first ever trip since the pandemic happened.

A province that’s beaming with life and bursting with adventure - any and every kind of traveler will surely find whatever kind of travel they’re looking for. Whether that may be a quiet respite beside the ocean or an action-packed adventure in the mountains, Bohol offers quite an array of options you can choose from.
So, if you’ve decided to visit Bohol during this new normal, there are certain things you need to remember and follow in order to make sure that you have a risk-free stay.
Negative RT-PCR Test - It is important to remember that your RT-PCR test must be taken exactly within 72 hours (3 days) before your departure for Bohol and must be taken only in accredited laboratories. Once you receive your negative test results, you will attach this in a Google form you will fill out for your unique QR COE (issued by tourism.bohol.gov.ph) and Letter of Acceptance (issued by the Municipality of Panglao).
Flight booking - Please note that your flight schedule should be within 72 hours from the time you took your RT-PCR test, and NOT from when you received your results. It is also best to familiarize yourself with the new guidelines and protocols mandated by the airlines.
Confirmed Accredited Hotel Booking - Tourists need to have a confirmed booking with an accommodation establishment (AE) located in the Municipalities of Panglao or Dauis which has a Certificate of Authority to Operate (CAO) from the Department of Tourism (DOT) or the Ultimate Bohol Experience (UBE) Seal from the Provincial Government of Bohol.
Travel Itinerary - Tourists need to check Bohol's Tourism Website to find out which tourist spots and attraction they can visit this time.
Individual QR Code - Tourists must register through the Bohol Tourist Registration portal via tourism.bohol.gov.ph, registered tourists will be sent necessary information and instructions through their respective emails. A personal QR code will be assigned to each registered tourist which would serve as their electronic visitor’s ID. It is strictly mandated that there shall be no walk-in tourists.
Letter of Acceptance - Go to the municipality's website, panglaolgu.gov.ph, and fill up the necessary information. You will then be redirected to a page where you can submit your Letter of Acceptance issued by the Municipality of Panglao and attach your Negative RT-PCR test, accredited hotel booking confirmation, and round trip tickets.
Pre-booked Transfers - It is advised to book an itinerary with a DOT-accredited tour operator before traveling to the island. This will also help you make the most of your time in Bohol. You’ll find a list on Bohol’s Tourism Website, tourism.bohol.gov.ph.
