Linapacan Island - Linapacan Island is just halfway between El Nido and Coron. This lesser-known island is the perfect place if you want to spend your time relaxing by the beach without the distractions of large crowds and more. With one of the clearest blue waters you’ll find in the world, Linacapan can undoubtedly be called one of Palawan’s hidden gems - probably not anymore after this.

Cagayancillo - The island of Cagayancillo on the southwest of Puerto Princesa City is known as the “Mecca of Scuba Divers”, This is because you can find the famous Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park here which is known as the center of the Coral Triangle.

Rizal - The municipality of Rizal is the starting point for everyone who wants to hike up Mt. Mantalingahan, Palawan’s highest point. Even if hiking isn’t exactly what you came for when visiting Palawan, exploring this town can be quite an adventure with its hidden caves and waterfalls as you hike up the mountainous side of Southern Palawan.

Port Barton - This quiet fishing village just north of Palawan’s capital is starting to gain attraction from all sorts of travelers, and for good reason. Similar to El Nido’s beauty but without its busy nightlife and hectic crowds, as well as electricity cutting off for a few hours every day, this laidback town could be the island getaway you’re looking for your next trip.

Araceli - The island of Araceli is another hidden gem of Palawan. Getting here takes about 4 hours by boat but the island’s unspoiled beauty will surely make up for that long journey.

Brooke’s Point - If you want to experience the countryside of Palawan, the municipality of Brooke’s Point is the best place to visit. Here, you’ll be able to see and experience the beauty of living in this province. Some of the places you can check out are the Ecological Park and the AgriWorld Farm.

Balabac - The Islands of Balabac may be high up on anyone’s list right now but the “Maldives of the Philippines” is still one of the hardest places you can travel to. Most islands or islets are privately owned. While the ones you can travel to - Onuk, Patawan, Camiaran, Candaraman, Sicsican, and Punta Sebaring - are places you should be ready to live like a castaway.
