When you think of Taguig, one of the first things you’ll think of is BGC (Bonifacio Global City) and the second is the pricey restaurants that have made this place quite popular for years now. That may be true to an extent, but there are still restaurants around BGC that are budget-friendly and also, really yummy as well – and we’re not just talking about your regular fast food chains here!

Recovery Food (Crossroads) – Recovery Food is a favorite amongst the party-goers in the nightlife industry in BGC. Of course, this was before the pandemic happened. Although that particular industry in BGC has been put on pause, Recovery Food continues to offer their famous rice bowls and other hearty dishes during this time. Their bowls sell less than P200 but can cure any hangover.

Chicken & Beer (Burgos Circle) – Korean’s have been doing it right when it comes to drinking – eating spicy chicken while having a beer. Sounds like a good night? Sure is, and you can try it out for yourself. Aside from their chicken dishes, they also offer other grubs that are perfect to pair with an ice-cold glass of beer, and most of them only cost less than P300.
