Aloe Vera as moisturizer - Described as the wonder plant (italize wonder plant), Aloe Vera contains antioxidants, enzymes, Vitamins A and C, and it is highly anti-inflammatory. It has skin healing properties that works miracles if you are suffering from acne, burns, eczema, and irritation. You can make your own Aloe Vera moisturizer at home using only an Aloe Vera leaf and a raw coconut oil or essential oil. Simply peel the Aloe Vera by removing the rind and spines. Mix the Aloe Vera gel and an oil of your choice and voila! You can now use this as your daily moisturizer.

Cucumber as a face mask - If you are suffering from skin irritation or if you have an acne-prone skin, you might want to add cucumber in your daily skincare routine. Cucumber has nutrients like vitamin C, folic acid, anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidants. To make your DIY cucumber face mask, all you need to do is blend an unpeeled cucumber until you achieve the watery paste consistency. Pour the mixture into a strainer to separate any solid bits. Apply the cucumber juice to your skin and let it sit on your face for 10-15 minutes.

Green Tea as toner - Rich in antioxidants, green tea is an excellent treatment if you have an oily skin. Its natural ingredients help fight premature aging and improve the appearance of skin. To make green tea as a toner, steep 1 tea bag in boiling water for 3-5 minutes and let it seep until the water is warm enough.
